Welcome to the Charleston Swim Team... Home of the Water Rats!!
Charleston Swim Team competes annuallly in the Tri-County Swimming League . Summer Swim teams at Charleston and in the township on Cherry Hill have a unique and exciting 50 year history. Children from neighborhoods all over the tri-county area compete every Saturday during the summer learning more than not only how to swim but how to be a good team and friend. What other sport can a 7 year old be on the same team as a 17 year and their contribution are equally important to team success!
Swim Team practices starts in every year in early June and is held every day after school. Once Cherry Hill School district school years ends our senior group practices daily from 8am - 10 am and our junior group practice daily from 4:30 - 6:00pm
The dual meet season is a fast paced 6 week season that starts in late June and runs through July. Meets are held on Saturday mornings at Charleston and other local swim clubs.
Our team is professionally coached and is lead by Head Coach Matt Acciani and Assitant Coach Dan Levison.
So who can participate on the swim team? Any child who family is a member of the Charleston Swim Club.
