Big news! For the first time ever, teen swimmers from across all 12 Cherry Hill swim clubs will have the chance to celebrate the season together at a formal dance event! We hope you’ll join us for the very first Cherry Ball!

What:

Cherry Ball is a formal dance event (think Swim Team Prom!) especially for Cherry Hill summer swimmers. A light dinner will be served, and there will be a DJ, dancing, photo booth, and more!

Where:

Camden County Boathouse
7050 N Park Dr, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08109
The boathouse is right at the edge of Cherry Hill, overlooking the Cooper River.

When:

Sunday, July 20 5pm-9pm.
This is the Sunday before Cherry Bowl. The event will end promptly at 9pm, since all swimmers will have taper practice Monday morning!

Who’s invited:

Cherry Hill summer swim club team swimmers, ages 13+ from all 12 clubs are invited to attend. A swimmer may bring one guest who is a non-swimmer, but non-swimmers may not attend alone. Parents and coaches are also invited to attend and will be seated in a special adults section.

What’s the dress code?

Formal attire is encouraged, but no specifics are required. Guests are welcome to wear gowns and tuxes, party dresses and suits, khakis and button downs…. whatever makes you feel festive! We just ask that guests do not wear jeans or athletic wear.

Special note:

Charleston Swim Club is hosting this event, along with help from other swim clubs. We’ll have chaperones and security on site and guests will be expected to adhere to a code of conduct.

Tickets?

Tickets will go on sale in a few weeks and will be available for purchase online. We’re still working out ticket prices and will try to keep them as low as possible for families. Until then, please follow @cherryballofficial on Instagram for updates.

Interested in joining the Cherry Ball Committee? Both swimmers and parents are invited to help with the fun and planning! To join our committee, please email Charleston Swim Mom Elura Kish at elura@me.com.
