Charleston Swim Club is Off to a Great Start

After a cold and wet opening day, Charleston Swim Club is officially back on track with a wonderfully hot and busy weekend. We were thrilled to see so many returning members and overjoyed as new families stepped into the club for the first time. The older kids cheered on the younger swimmers as they swam their laps for the Band Test and even jumped in to encourage them as they tread water in the deep end to complete the test. We played volleyball and cornhole, basketball and shuffleboard.  There was barbeque and margaritas, and even some delicious pound cake made the rounds throughout the club Sunday night.  Also, our former club president Jason McGonigle proved that he still has what it takes to maintain his title of belly flop champion in a stunning display of aero- and hydro- dynamics that simply cannot be explained by modern science!  All around it was a wonderful weekend at Charleston and it can only get better from here!
